a blog by Michael Colson

Michael Colson is responsible for the numerous goofs and gaffes on this blog.  For a living, he regularly pontificates on literature and philosophy.   ‘Truth Tableaux’ is inspired by Ludwig Wittgenstein‘s study of truth tables in the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus.  This blog espouses the ancient transcendentals–Truth, Beauty, and the Good–as discovered in literature, philosophy, and Catholic theology throughout the ages. Very likely, you’ll notice the Salvador Dali painting Christ of Saint John of the Cross (1951). As the Jesuits say: Ad maiorem Dei gloriam!
